Elderly Services

Advice can be offered on many aspects of the law that particularly affect our elderly clients and their families. These include:

  • Power of Attorney. This enables you to plan ahead and ensures that you decide who will take care of your assets and welfare should you become incapacitated in the future.
  • Wills. Making a will is important to ensure that your wishes are carried out. We can prepare or update a will free of charge under the Cancer Research UK Free Will Scheme.
  • Lifetime Wills. A Lifetime Will states what medical care you would want (or refuse) should you be unable to do so in the future.
  • Asset Protection/Transfers of Title. We have assisted many clients in the transfer of title to their house to family members while protecting their occupancy rights.
